Travel with Tracy: 5 Days Leisure Tour in Beijing

I went to Beijing for 5 day, from Oct. 1st to Oct. 5th. It was a little cold here early in the morning, but got warmer and even hot at noon. I went to visit the famous Great Wall and Beijing Hutongs, and historic sites such as the Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City  with modern iconic buildings like Tiananmen Square, Bird’s Nest Stadium, and Water Cube.

Day 2 Hiking at the Great Wall

The Great Wall

The Great Wall

It’s a long ascent from parking place to the start pointing of the Great Wall. After a few steep stairs, the road diverges into two parts. Standing at the intersection, I am so amazed at the spectacular Great wall from both sides. The rest of my day followed with a long and exhausted hiking, but it was exciting!! Haha~

After the tour, it was worthy stopping to see the Water cube and Bird Nest. They are amazing buildings and make you experience the modern art.
