D1 Wangfujing Street & Tiananmen Square
Arrived Beijing in the afternoon, and took a bus from airport to the downtown to meet my friend. Then check in my hotel and visited Wangfujing Street and Tiananmen Square.
D2 Houhai & Hutong & Beijing Olympic Village
In the morning, set out to Houhai and Nanluoguxiang where are the trendy sections of the old city. Then I took a rickshaw to appreciate the ancient alleyway of Hutongs that are still keeping the original layout in the Shichahai area. The weather was good. Everything was perfect.
In the afternoon, I visited Beijing Olympic Village, the world-famed “Bird’s Nest” and the “Water Cube”.
D3 Summer Palace
In the morning, visited Summer Palace.
After the visit in Summer Palace, I went shopping and bought some souvenirs. Then, I went to the hotel nearby the airport for my tomorrow’s early morning flight.
